The Project
Before becoming a collection,
Nestaground was a rug
for our child.
Nestaground was born in our home, in Spain, when we were searching for a truly healthy, natural and deeply comfortable rug for our son's first moments.
After more than twenty years in the world of rugs, with clients on every continent and pieces sent to more than fifty countries, we could not find what we were looking for.
So we made it.
The first Nestaground was Bill's. He played on it, he learned to walk on it, and it is still with us.
Today, Nestaground is carried by Lamia Boua and Wilfrid Thoumazeau, from our atelier, where we follow the creation, care, washing and restoration of our rugs over time.
A new name, but an experience already proven by life.
